In collaboration with the client content and strategy teams, the Assistant Editor will execute against the social media strategy and manage the content execution across LinkedIn and Facebook. The Assistant Editor will lead creation of compelling, executable content pieces and campaigns that ensure consistency in tone and voice and meet client business objectives.
This position is responsible for creation, execution and management of social media content solutions for one of our financial services clients and a B2B client. In collaboration with the client content and strategy teams, the Assistant Editor will execute against the social media strategy and manage the content execution across LinkedIn and Facebook.
Produce content for the social media arms of the Institute for Health Promotion Research and its projects, including a national Latino childhood obesity (LCO) prevention project and our social media platform, @SaludToday. Overall this position will curate and write content specifically for social media; lead outreach and recruitment methods to expand social media followers; listen to, engage and interact with social media followers, all while representing the IHPR’s voice. This position will work with other content creatives to coordinate social media content, reach, and campaigns within the overall promotional goals of the organization.
The position also will use web and social media analytic tools to monitor, measure, analyze, report progress, and create actionable insights to continually guide the IHPR’s social media channels and online websites. In addition to this effort, the successful candidate will also participate in other IHPR activities as directed, including: writing blog posts and other multimedia content; scientific publications and grant proposals; creating and delivering posters and slide presentations; representing the IHPR at events; etc. 20+ jobs in social media and merchandising management
